PUBG Mobile 1.2 Update: The Global PUBG Mobile version has started receiving the highly anticipated 1.2 Update. The new update includes a ton of new features as well as various in-game improvements. Tencent Games says the update will be available to the general public from 3:00 UTC on January 12th in the app. Apple Store. The new PUBG Mobile 1.2 update weighs in at around 615MB on Android. For iOS users, the update will weigh in at around 1.5GB. To download the updated files, the company will need to shut down the server for a while. This means that during this period, PUBG Mobile players will not be able to enjoy the game.

Users who decide to update the game to the latest version will be generously rewarded. The company announced that upgrade rewards will include 2888 BP, 100 AG, and the Acolyte of Justice backpack. It is noteworthy that users will need to update the game by January 17 to receive the rewards.

The PUBG Mobile 1.2 update includes a new limited gameplay Runic Power that will be available until March 7th. The new gameplay will allow players to select their type of Rune Energy on the Island of Rebirth to gain unique abilities during the match. It will also be the theme for Season 17 of the Royale Pass.

The new update also introduces a new weapon called the FAMAS. The pistol uses 5.56 ammo and will be available on maps in Classic Battle Royale.

Please note that an update has been released for the global version of PUBG Mobile. Gambling is currently prohibited in India under section 69A of the Information Technology Act. PUBG is working on bringing the game back with a new avatar called PUBG Mobile India, but it has yet to launch in the country.
